Review for Hyde by Laura DeLuca

5/5

Larua DeLuca strikes again! I have become extremely attached to this series and am sad to see it end. Lord Justyn and his leading lady Becca have wormed their way into my heart and taken up permanent residence. I wanted to give this book more than five stars, but sadly that is all that I am allowed to give it.

It's the summer vacation and Justyn and Becca have to work in order to make sure that they have the money to pay for their rent. Not only that but they find themselves to be the stars in a dinner theater production of the dark story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Not only are Justyn and Becca working, but they are surprising their families with a wonderful surprise. Well...Becca happens to have another surprise that doesn't come out until it's almost too late.

Justyn and Becca are about to learn that their summer isn't what they hoped it to be. While they thought they put all the craziness of the past productions behind them, they realize that they haven't. The production of Hyde brings out a whole new case of people who are out to get them, only for different reasons.

With her best friend in tow and of course Tom, Becca is out to make sure that Justyn and her get their happily ever after, even if it does end up endangering not only her life but Justyn's as well.

I love how Laura depicts these plays and really brings them to life. It captivates the reader in such a way that it's impossible to put the book down.
