Remembering Love Promo

Blurb
When all is lost, how do you remember love?

When her beloved foster parents pass away, Holly discovers a past both shocking and heartbreaking: the murder/suicide of her biological parents on the South Pacific island of Pitcairn, famous for the HMAV Bounty mutineers. Travelling to a home she does not remember, Holly reconnects with long-lost childhood friend Jack. An old friendship quickly becomes more…until a dark secret is uncovered.

Will joyous love remembered become heartbreak? Can she find out the truth before someone else is hurt?

 Excerpt
Holly let the heavy suitcases fall out of her hands and land with
a double thud on the paved driveway. She turned her heart shaped
face to the sun, closing her eyes tight against the glare, enjoying
the heat on her face. She rolled her head and then her shoulders,
rotating her arms; they felt as if they were nearly pulled from their
sockets.
Gazing down at her hands she sighed. Being slender with a
build not used to carrying heavy loads, the weight of the cases
handles had left bright red welts in her palms. She rubbed her
hands together like a miser gloating over a pile of money, trying
to get feeling back into unfeeling fingers.
